As part of its commitment to creating a workplace that fuels creativity and global collaboration, Miro has installed Sony’s advanced Crystal LED display as the visual centerpiece of its new headquarters in Amsterdam. Complementing the large-scale CLED installation, more than 40 Sony Bravia 4K displays have also been deployed throughout the building, supporting hybrid work, presentations, and collaborative sessions between international teams.
Sony’s Crystal LED display becomes the centerpiece of Miro’s new HQ in Amsterdam
The 10,000-square-metre Miro HQ was designed as a modular, future-ready environment that adapts to the flexible needs of hybrid work. At its core, the café and event space now features Sony’s Crystal LED CH Series, chosen for its ultra-fine pixel pitch, wide color gamut, and superior brightness. The immersive display transforms the space into a vibrant focal point for company-wide gatherings, product launches, and creative showcases.
AV integrator Windside Digital oversaw the installation, ensuring a seamless integration between Sony’s display ecosystem and Miro’s collaboration tools. In addition to the Crystal LED wall, more than 40 Sony Bravia professional displays—ranging from 50″ to 75″ in size—were deployed across meeting rooms and creative zones. The Bravia BZ40L and BZ30L series provide 4K HDR picture quality and integrate smoothly with leading videoconferencing platforms.
Founded in 2011 and headquartered in San Francisco, Miro is a global leader in online collaborative whiteboard software, designed to help distributed teams brainstorm, plan, and execute projects visually. Its AI-powered platform is used by millions of professionals worldwide—including teams at Netflix, Salesforce, and Deloitte—to bridge creativity and productivity across distances.
With the new Amsterdam office serving as its European hub, Miro aims to embody the same principles of openness, adaptability, and connection that define its digital platform.
Sony’s Crystal LED display technology represents the pinnacle of visual performance for large-format displays. Built on modular micro-LED panels, the CH Series delivers extraordinary color accuracy, contrast, and brightness—ideal for high-end corporate spaces, museums, broadcast studios, and experiential environments.
In Miro’s HQ, the display’s lifelike clarity enhances communication and engagement, whether for global town halls or creative showcases. Sony’s Deep Black Non-Glare (DBNG) technology further ensures vivid visuals even in naturally lit rooms surrounded by glass—an essential feature in modern, open-plan offices.
Miro’s decision also reflected growing corporate priorities around sustainability and energy efficiency. Sony’s Bravia professional displays include eco-conscious materials like Sorplas™ recycled plastic, along with intelligent light sensors and advanced power management. The displays can be remotely monitored and managed, aligning with Miro’s digital-first and environmentally responsible workplace strategy.
Sony’s Bravia Displays also become part of the new Miro’s HQ in Amsterdam
The collaboration between Miro and Sony highlights a broader shift in how companies are reimagining the workplace as a dynamic, tech-enabled experience rather than a fixed location.
By integrating high-performance LED visualization with intelligent software tools, companies like Miro are creating immersive, flexible environments that blur the boundaries between physical and virtual collaboration. The result is a new model for post-pandemic office design—spaces that not only connect teams but also inspire innovation, sustainability, and a shared sense of purpose.
The new Miro HQ in Amsterdam is more than just an office—it’s a statement about the evolving relationship between technology, creativity, and human connection. By combining Sony’s cutting-edge display technology with Miro’s visual collaboration ethos, the project illustrates how the AV industry continues to shape the way we communicate, create, and collaborate in the hybrid era.
