Unilumin has strengthened its long-term partnership with Manchester City through a new multi-year agreement that will see its advanced LED displays installed across the club’s upcoming entertainment destination at the Etihad Stadium.
As part of the project, Unilumin will supply large-format LED screens for the covered fan zone, which is designed to host up to 3,000 supporters. Additional digital displays will also be positioned at both ends of the new development, creating an immersive visual environment for visitors and matchday fans.

The new entertainment destination represents a major £300 million investment by Manchester City. The development includes an expanded North Stand, a modern fan zone, a museum, and hospitality venues overlooking the pitch. Together, these facilities aim to transform the Etihad Stadium into a year-round leisure and entertainment hub.
By integrating high-performance LED displays throughout the site, the club is enhancing its ability to deliver real-time content, live broadcasts, sponsor messaging, and interactive experiences. These Manchester City LED displays will play a central role in connecting fans with the club both on matchdays and beyond.
Unilumin first became Manchester City’s official LED partner in 2021. In 2022, the company delivered a large two-tier digital display system inside the stadium, significantly upgrading the venue’s visual presentation.
The latest agreement builds on this successful collaboration by extending Unilumin’s technology beyond the main arena and into the surrounding entertainment areas. This move reflects the growing importance of LED displays in creating modern, connected sports environments.
Jeremy Way, Vice-President of Strategy and Creative Partnerships at City Football Group, highlighted how Unilumin’s technology has already enhanced the club’s digital infrastructure. By extending display coverage beyond the stadium bowl, Unilumin is helping to unlock new levels of visual impact. This approach aligns with the company’s broader strategy of delivering high-brightness, high-resolution, and energy-efficient LED systems for major sports and entertainment projects worldwide.
The integration of advanced Manchester City LED displays into the new entertainment destination highlights a wider trend in professional sports. Modern stadiums are no longer limited to matchday use. Instead, they are evolving into digital platforms that operate year-round.Through this partnership, Manchester City is setting a new benchmark for how LED technology can support branding, fan engagement, and commercial growth. At the same time, Unilumin continues to strengthen its position as a leading supplier of large-scale LED display solutions for global sports venues.
