Kinglight Named to “Display Supply Chain Elite List” And Honored for The Contribution to MiP LED Display Standard

News | 2026-01-12

Kinglight has received dual recognition from the Shenzhen Lighting and Display Engineering Industry Association (SLDA) for its role in shaping the MiP LED display standard and for its strong performance across the display supply chain. The honors were announced at SLDA’s 10th anniversary annual conference, themed “Light of the Future, Connecting the World.” The event also featured the 2026 International (Shenzhen) Mini/Micro LED Technology Innovation Forum and other industry-focused activities.

The conference brought together leading companies from across the LED display ecosystem. It served as a platform for discussing future technologies, industrial collaboration, and large-scale commercialization. At this event, Kinglight was named to the 2025 Display Supply Chain Elite List. The company also received the title of Outstanding Contributing Organization for its participation in the development of the MiP LED display technical standard.

As a leading LED packaging manufacturer, Kinglight places innovation at the center of its long-term strategy. The company continues to invest in advanced packaging technologies and process optimization. These efforts have enabled Kinglight to deliver stable, high-performance LED components to display manufacturers worldwide. Its inclusion on the 2025 Supply Chain Elite List reflects the industry’s recognition of its product reliability, quality control systems, and technical consistency.

In recent years, MiP (Micro LED in Package) technology has gained attention as a key direction for next-generation LED displays. However, the lack of unified technical standards has limited its large-scale adoption. Inconsistent product definitions, unclear performance criteria, and fragmented testing methods have created barriers for manufacturers and system integrators.

To address these challenges, SLDA initiated the development of the MiP LED display standard. Kinglight actively joined this effort and contributed its expertise in packaging, reliability design, and mass production practices. During the drafting process, the company helped define core technical frameworks. These include product classification, performance requirements, and standardized testing methods.

This standard now provides a clear technical reference for the MiP LED sector. It also helps improve product consistency, reduce application risks, and accelerate market adoption. By participating in this process, Kinglight played a meaningful role in shaping the technical direction of MiP-based display solutions.

The recognition as an outstanding contributor reflects more than technical capability. It also highlights Kinglight’s long-term commitment to industry responsibility. The company continues to support open collaboration and shared progress across the LED display value chain.

Looking ahead, Kinglight will remain actively involved in the development of MiP LED standards and other next-generation display specifications. The company will continue to refine its packaging technologies and improve product reliability. Through closer cooperation with upstream and downstream partners, Kinglight aims to support the high-quality growth of the global LED display industry and help build a more sustainable and structured industrial ecosystem.
