Kinglight Launches QFN1212 LED with Increased Thrust & Display Uniformity
News | 2025-01-07

In recent years, LED displays continue to expand their application into new sectors, and fully explore the potential of the market. Meanwhile, virtual production is not a thing that happens only in a fixed facility but also shifts to rental service, which result in a new growth point in the rental market.

The new trend has put forward new standard for LEDs, such as sufficient thrust and higher display uniformity. Responding to market demand, Kinglight launches the QFN1212 LEDs, which are suitable for the screens for high-end venues such as large-scale event, brand conferences and exhibitions, and also for the displays being used in virtual production sector.

What is QFN?

QFN stands for quad flat no-lead package. It is one of the surface mount packaging forms. QFN is also a very important packaging type for semiconductor device packaging.

Features of Kinglight QFN1212 LED

Higher Thrust & Stable Performance

Kinglight QFN1212 LED adopts a flat pin design, which increases the solder area by 50%. The new design increases the thrust to more than 4.0 kg, 3 times of a conventional TOP LED. In addition, flat pins also means reduced height of the module, which provide increased reliability.

Smooth Surface & Uniform Display

The solder pad of QFN1212 LED is at the bottom of module, which avoids the unevenness caused by bent pins on a traditional TOP LED. Using BT copper-clad board as the base material is conducive to achieving better SMT mounting effects and ensuring the overall integrity of the product. Flatness of the LEDs ensures a smooth surface mounting process for significantly increased display uniformity.

Partitioned Solder Pad for Increased Strength

QFN1212 LED utilizes partitioned pad structure, which not only enhances the stability of welding, but also effectively prevents the risk of cross-lighting of red, green and blue, providing more accurate colors.

Upgraded Display Effect for Excellent Visual

QFN1212 LED also features black frame and matte black finish for effective suppress of screen reflection. The ink color consistency and matte black effect are significantly improved, improving the user visual experience.

Wide Color Gamut for Limitless Usage

In addition to its application in the high-end rental market, the high color gamut coverage and high brightness of QFN1212 make it an ideal choice for XR/VP virtual shooting, capable of presenting realistic virtual world images.
