Report says, Okinawa Suntory Arena in Japan has launched the world’s first portable LED sports floor made by ASB GlassFloor. It is also the first full-LED glass sports floor put into use across Asia. This modular floor breaks the limits of traditional fixed sports courts. It supports fast venue conversion for basketball games, esports, concerts and exhibitions. ASB GlassFloor has finished installing its groundbreaking portable LED sports floor at Okinawa Suntory Arena. The arena serves as the home court for Japan’s professional basketball team Ryukyu Golden Kings. This project sets two major industry records. It is the world’s first portable modular LED sports court. It is also the first officially operated ASB LED glass floor in Asia.

Valid scenes include official basketball matches, esports contests, live concerts and brand exhibitions. Besides, the LED floor connects with arena overhead screens in real time. It projects screen visuals directly onto the court to create unified on-site visual effects.
The portable LED sports floor also creates new brand promotion spaces. Venues can show sponsor logos, brand videos and interactive marketing content on the glowing floor. ASB Arena and Event Services will provide long-term support. Its services cover daily equipment maintenance, commercial operation and custom visual content creation. These supports ensure stable and profitable long-term use of the LED floor.
Traditional sports courts are mostly fixed wooden or rubber surfaces. Early LED glass floors are also fixed for permanent use. The new portable LED sports floor has clear advantages in operation, experience and business value. It fits the development needs of modern multi-purpose arenas perfectly.
