ROE Visual Launches Vanish Acoustics, an Acoustically Transparent LED Series

Optronics Industry | 2026-09-04

ROE Visual has introduced Vanish Acoustics, a new acoustically transparent LED solution designed for applications where visual displays and audio need to work together.

Developed through ROE Visual’s Display Solutions business, Vanish Acoustics is primarily aimed at visitor attractions, theme parks and other immersive environments. The system is designed to allow sound to pass through the LED display, enabling speakers to be positioned behind the screen rather than around it.

2.6mm Pixel Pitch for High-Resolution Visuals

Vanish Acoustics features a 2.6mm pixel pitch and is designed as a fixed-installation LED solution.

According to ROE Visual, the panel provides 23% visual transparency while achieving up to 99% sound transmission. The company also specifies sound attenuation of no more than 1dB across the 500Hz to 12.5kHz frequency range.

This design allows audio to remain closely aligned with the visual content displayed on the LED canvas. For applications such as themed attractions and immersive installations, this can help integrate speakers into the display structure without making them visually prominent.

Curved Installation Capability

In addition to acoustic transmission, Vanish Acoustics is designed to support curved installations.

The panel can be adjusted from 30° concave to 30° convex, allowing integrators to create curved LED surfaces for environments where a flat display is not suitable.

The product also uses a frame design that integrates the power supply and cabling within the structure. ROE Visual says this approach helps reduce interference with sound transmission while maintaining a clean appearance.

Designed for Immersive Applications

ROE Visual positions Vanish Acoustics for environments including immersive experience halls, themed entertainment spaces, convention and event centers, broadcast and production studios, and XR or virtual production stages.

The company lists a 500 × 1000mm panel size, a 9.26kg panel weight and a 7680Hz refresh rate for the VC2.6 model. The panel is also designed for front and rear service.

With the introduction of Vanish Acoustics, ROE Visual adds an acoustically transparent LED solution to its product portfolio, combining LED display performance with a structure designed to allow sound to pass through the screen.

For display designers and integrators, the product represents another approach to combining visual content and audio within the same installation.
