On September 15, the 19th National LED Industry Development and Technology Seminar (2025’LED) and the 2025 National LED Display Application Technology & Industry Development Forum were held in Xi’an, Shaanxi. With the theme “New Technologies Driving LED Industry Transformation and Upgrade”, the conference gathered leading experts and entrepreneurs to explore the future direction of technology innovation and industry development.
At the event, Yan Chunwei, R&D Director of Kinglight’s Packaging Division, delivered a keynote speech on “LED Packaging Technology Innovation and Multi-Scenario Applications.” He emphasized that the LED display industry is undergoing a dual transformation toward “micro-pitch high-definition” and “scenario specialization.” According to Mr. Yan, continuous innovation is the key to addressing diverse market needs. By transforming technological breakthroughs into practical solutions, Kinglight is accelerating the transition from single-scenario applications to full-spectrum adoption.

As demand for micro-pitch displays continues to surge, products below P1.0 pixel pitch are becoming mainstream. However, the industry still faces challenges in mass transfer yield and cost control. Yan highlighted Kinglight’s early investment and breakthroughs in MiP (Micro LED in Package) technology. As one of the first companies to commercialize MiP, Kinglight has tackled challenges such as Micro LED chip consistency, mass transfer yield, and defect repair. With advantages including high yield, strong uniformity, and simplified maintenance, Kinglight has launched products like MC0404, MC0505, and MC0606, supporting pixel pitches from P0.5 to P1.25. These solutions are accelerating the adoption of next-generation micro-pitch displays.
Kinglight showcases LEDs at the seminar
LED display applications are rapidly diversifying beyond traditional advertising into professional scenarios such as stage rental, broadcast production, and virtual production. To meet these specialized demands, Kinglight provides scenario-driven display solutions covering stage rental, XR/VP studios, LED cinema, and more.
From concerts to film production, Kinglight’s specialized solutions are redefining visual performance standards across industries.
For high-end fixed LED displays, particularly outdoor landmark installations and naked-eye 3D applications, durability, brightness, and energy efficiency are critical. Kinglight’s KS series addresses these needs with high brightness, low power consumption, and ultra-long lifespan.
With models such as 2727, 3535, and 1820 already used in global showcase projects including the Olympic Games, the KS series sets a new benchmark. The newly launched TF2727, featuring inorganic ceramic packaging, further enhances reliability and durability, representing Kinglight’s commitment to long-term quality excellence.
From pioneering MiP technology in micro-pitch displays, to delivering specialized solutions for professional applications, to setting new benchmarks in high-end fixed installations with the KS series, Kinglight continues to drive the transformation of the LED industry. Looking ahead, Kinglight will keep investing in display innovation and provide customers with high-value solutions, contributing to the global upgrade of the LED industry.
