ISE 2025, the world’s most influential exhibition for integrated systems, made its grand opening at Fira Barcelona in Spain on February 4th. Attracting worldwide manufacturers and suppliers, as well as professionals and experts in audiovisual and integrated systems industry, ISE becomes a global venue that converges the most innovative designs and technologies in the industry.
Kinglight, as an leading enterprise in LED packaging, brought various brand new and innovative LEDs to ISE 2025. These self-developed LEDs are designed for the manufacturing of top quality LED displays with different features and for different application scenarios. Let’s dive in and see what they are.
For high end fixed displays, Kinglight launched the brand new TF2727 ceramic LED, which is the first that utilizes inorganic ceramic packaging and provides 10 years extra long warranty in the industry.
TF2727 LED adopts extra large LED chips and gold wiring for over 10,000 nits brightness. Meanwhile, the inorganic ceramic packaging also provides the TF2727 LED greatly improved anti-ultraviolet and heat dissipation performance; the one-piece sintered ceramic frame ensures the new LED with excellent air tightness to endure bad weather conditions; TF2727 LED also adopts flat pins to achieve much smoother surface on LED panels, which can greatly improve the display evenness on the whole screen. All these advanced features make the new TF2727 LED a perfect choice for making high end fixed displays.
With the prominent advantage of rental LED displays and more mature new technologies such as 5G, cloud computing, and the Internet of Things, more opportunities are seen in display rental market. To meet with the rapid growing demand of high end rental displays, Kinglight develops various innovative LEDs.
Kinglight Black Crystal 2424 LED is specifically designed for high end indoor rental displays that widely appear for commercial advertising, or at conferences, exhibitions, and other rental application scenarios. The new LED adopts higher PPA coverage on the surface for reduced light emitting area, achieving more focused light beams and less light interference between adjacent LEDs, which means highly increased contrast and much better visuals for the display.
Meanwhile, the new 2424 LED adopts larger pins for nearly 7KG thrust, which is much higher than that of a common type of LED. The highly increased thrust ensures the best anti-collision performance for rental displays.
Kinglight QFN1212 LED utilizes quad flat no-leads package (QFN for short) and has flat pins for 50% increased soldering area, which provide 3 times thrust of a conventional LED; meanwhile, the etched-out flat pins also ensure an impeccable smooth surface on rental displays, avoiding the slightest display unevenness appearing on LED screens utilizing conventional LEDs with bent pins.
In response to the high-end rental market’s stringent requirements for the LED screen’s anti-bump performance, Kinglight developed the TOP four-in-one LEDs, which encapsulate four LEDs into one module, and integrate more pins to achieve a multiple increase in thrust performance, thereby obtaining better anti-bump performance and further ensuring the stability and reliability of rental LED screen.
For high-end outdoor rental displays, Kinglight has upgraded version of 1820 LEDs with full black designs, which adopt advanced packaging to acquire higher brightness but maintained contrast for perfect outdoor visuals.
In recent years, LED has been widely used in virtual production, extended reality, and cinema screen markets, driving the innovation of LED display technology.
For the LED cinema screen market, Kinglight has launched P3 series LEDs, including MC0606, 1415, 2020 and 1010, with ultra-high P3 color gamut coverage, high contrast, high consistency and support for HDR content that bring new viewing experience to high-end cinemas.
For the field of virtual production and extended reality, Kinglight has launched 2 XR series LEDs (1415-XR and 1212-XR), and the 1515RGBW LED with additional white light source. Featuring 99% coverage of P3 color gamut, theses LEDS are able to reproduce more realistic scenes, bring great convenience to virtual production, and meanwhile increased efficiency and better visual presentation in film making industry.
Nowadays, small pitch LED displays become a new trend in high end market, resulting in popularity of MiP LEDs. Kinglight, as a pioneer in MiP technology, also developed various micro LEDs for small pitch displays, including the MC0404, MC0505, MC0606, etc. These LEDs can be widely used for VP/XR, and LED cinemas but are limited for indoor applications.
Now, Kinglight has broadened application boundary of MiP LEDs with the newly developed MIP1010 LED for outdoors, which has a minimal size of 1.0*1.0mm and is suitable for P1 – P2 high definition LED screens. Meanwhile, the new MIP 1010 LED adopts higher thrust, wider viewing angle, flip chip design, and is universal between common cathode and common anode structure. All these new features make it a perfect choice for making reliable outdoor small pitch displays.
With all these brand new and innovative LEDs we bring to ISE 2025, surely you won’t regret to make a visit to Kinglight booth. Warmly welcome to join us at booth 5H100 during the expo!
